CS2 Tournament

The first CS2 night of the autumn. You can form your own teams, or sign up looking for one.

This one is built for the people who haven't touched the game since spring as much as for the ones who never stopped. Teams are mixed on the night so no side is stacked, the matches are short, and if we don't get the numbers for five-a-side it becomes wingman, which honestly suits a weekday better anyway. Come alone, come with a friend, come with a full five; most people turn up on their own and get sorted into a team before the draw. Every level is welcome, and being the worst player in the server is a perfectly good way to spend an evening.

Voice is open from six for warm-up, the bracket goes up at 19 sharp, and the side lobby runs retakes and deathmatch for anyone knocked out early or just there to hang around. If it works, it becomes a regular thing.

Format - 10 or more players: 5v5, competitive rules, the active duty pool. - Under 10: 2v2 wingman on the short maps. Same bracket, shorter games. - Single elimination, best of one. The final is best of three if there's time. - Map per match: loser of a knife round bans first, alternate bans to one. Wingman picks from the wingman pool the same way.

Teams - Sign up on your own or with friends. Loose players are grouped into teams before the draw, mixed so no team is stacked. - Teams of five, one reserve each. A reserve can swap in between maps, not during.
